As an educator, I strive to create a supportive environment that fosters learning.  Students have different learning styles and our classroom is a place where each individual can show their progress in a variety of ways.  Each student has a unique perspective and is a valuable asset to our class. Group projects and challenges, making up math problems, playing learning games, sharing ideas and much more helps each student reach their highest levels of accomplishment.

Forest View’s international diversity and close ties with Duke University are strengths that enrich our students’ educational experience.

The  upper elementary years  are very important! I work with my students to develop study and management habits that will carry them on to middle school and beyond. They need to become  independent learners – responsible, and organized.  In my class, every student will be challenged to meet the abilities with which they have been gifted so they can become the highest achievers possible and reach heights they’ve never imagined.
