Busy Bees in the Bee Hive

My philosophy is to provide a safe, nurturing, supportive and challenging environment where all children can learn and are actively involved in meaningful learning experiences which enables them to be responsible productive citizens in today's world.  I believe each child is a unique individual with different learning styles, personalities, interests and come from diverse backgrounds.

My main goal as a teacher is to promote the total development of each child by providing the children with a positive, productive and developmentally appropriate education.

My classroom environment is prepared so that it provides stimulating, challenging materials and activities for your children.  Therefore, I provide concrete and sensory materials and activities which are purposeful and relevant to their lives.

My classroom consists of a large carpeted area for whole group activities and learning centers.  I believe learning must be integrated throughout the content areas for it to be meaningful and exciting. Through the use of Learning Centers, integration occurs throughout the day.

NO CHILD WILL BE LEFT BEHIND!!!

Our classroom is buzzing with learning.  We go on field trips, listen and play with the drummer, dance to the beat and act out a story.  It’s  all a part of a day’s  learning  at Forest View.
We are learning about the birds and their habitat.
What a day in the Bee Hive!
