Forest View now has an email list through Yahoo Groups. This group is set up so that school officials and PTA board members can make announcements about upcoming school events to the group. The group is not meant to be a forum for discussion but merely an additional way of notifying the Forest View community about important school news. Sign up

Check out the outdoor learning initiative at Forest View We believe important learning happens outdoors as well as indoors. Take a closer look. Forest View is the first school in the United States to have a PlayPod. Thanks to a grant from Be Active North Carolina, Forest View students are using their imagination at recess to create play frames using scrap materials from the Scrap Exchange. Our effort was recently featured on ABC-11.
It is important to be on time for school! We begin unloading car riders at 8:35 a.m. and open our classrooms at 8:40 a.m. Dismissal begins at 3:30 p.m. Our front office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., on school days.
