Need to register a new student?
If you child's first language is English, you may register at Forest View
Elementary School from 9am-3pm. If your child's first language is not English,
you must make an appointment to register your child at the DPS ESL Office,
560-2510 or 560-2137. To register, you will need a copy of the child's
birth certificate, social security card, and immunization record. You will
also need proof of residency (a lease, deed, or tax bill).
Interested in Learning More about the District's AIG Programs?
You can participate in the District AIG Parent Advocacy Board Meetings on May 27 at the DPS Staff Development Center on Hillandale Rd. Contact Beth Cross, 560-2029, for more information.
Forest View has an E-Mail List for Parents!
Forest View now has an email list through Yahoo Groups. This group is set up so that school officials and PTA board members can make announcements about upcoming school events to the group. The group is not meant to be a forum for discussion but merely an additional way of notifying the Forest View community about important school news. Sign up

A few Forest View 4th Graders have posted videos to YouTube as part of the StoryTubes contest. You can watch them now-- Animal Adventure, Marley's Funeral and Books Alive. All three were selected as finalists in the StoryTubes competion.
